Anxiety Symptoms Attack Chest Pain

Going through life always terrified of being in a social environment or just to get through daily activities may sound somewhat like a movie, but for millions of people suffering from anxiety attacks it is just a part of their daily routine. Some patients suffer from anxiety symptoms attack chest pain as a direct result of that panic feeling beginning to set in and the body trying to fight it off which can be very dangerous if not treated properly.

Chest pains are not just for the elderly, they are occurring more and more in younger people and even recently in children. These attacks which could be a form of angina or they can be a result of stress, are developing in those that have a mild to severe case of anxiety disorders as well. Anxiety sets in the body and it starts as just a feeling of discomfort, you begin to sweat and become a bit overwhelmed. Once those phases of the anxiety attack develop and the attack progresses it may become difficult to stand up without feeling dizzy, you can become nauseous, faint and your pulse can start to race as well. These are all how your body reacts to stress and the panic from the emotional feelings your brain is causing your body to react with. Once the pulse begins to race you can certainly develop chest pains as well. Chest pains are very common to experience when you ar under a lot of stress, when you are panicking or emotionally withdrawing yourself from a certain situation you can feel the chest pains begin and it is generally only temporary. This is just a way of your body trying to alert your mind to slow down and to try to stop overanalyzing things.

For treatment of the anxiety symptoms attack chest pain, you need to first attempt to calm yourself down as much as possible. Get a drink of water, sit down or even lay down for a few minutes. Some patients feel that eating something can also help diffuse the chest pains and start to settle their emotions. The second and most important step is prevention for future attacks. You need to have this condition treated as it may continue to become more severe as time progresses and going to therapy sessions or taking a prescription medication for your anxiety may be the best option for those who suffer from anxiety symptoms attack chest pain.
