Most people would consider themselves generally a very stable person emotionally. The ironic part of that is that over half the population in the world today is clearly not emotionally stable and for that rise in stress and fearful emotions, those suffering from anxiety attacks is also on the rise. You may be wondering, how can I tell if I’m having an anxiety attack? This is a very common concern as a number of people suffer from them and they do not even know that they are experiencing any anxiety symptoms at all.

Having an anxiety attacks can come in the form of being afraid, concerned or stressed out over something that is going to happen in your life or something that is currently happening in your life. It can take over your entire body, and generally begins in your mind and the emotions develop so strong that you begin to suffer from outside physical side effects from the emotions. Symptoms of an anxiety attack are sweating, crying, panicking, feeling dizzy, fainting, headaches, shaking hands, loss of appetite and chest pains. They can develop with only one of those symptoms or they can be combination of them, but when you are having a panic or anxiety attack you become overwhelmed and the nervousness sets in so deep that these physical effects take over.

It can be very disturbing to deal with anxiety attacks and if they occur on a regular basis such as daily or even weekly, you will need to seek some form of professional assistance to guide you through your recovery. Just a few therapy sessions may clear up most of the emotional issues that are the underlying circumstance to your anxiety attacks. If you find yourself in a situation or a time when you being to feel your heart race, and you start to have difficulty breathing or shaking that is how you know for sure you are in the midst of a panic attack. Some other answers to how can I tell if I’m having an anxiety attack would be is you notice you are having difficulty sleeping, eating and functioning on a regular basis then odds are you are either suffering from a form of depression or you are having anxiety attacks and may just not be aware of them. Try to seek counseling in your area and even any medications or relaxation techniques to get to back to good emotional health.
