Protein Helps You To Lose Weight

aSeveral studies suggest that the inclusion of a high protein diet provides not only a greater general feeling of well being, but also more energy consumption and better digestion, for both reasons, this makes it much easier to lose weight.

In 1956, Mellinkoff published his theory about the increased power of saciante proteins, there have been many other studies since then.

But not everyone came to this conclusion unequivocally, and this has prompted a scientific review of these studies by the Department of Nutrition, School of Public Health, Harvard (Boston, USA). This review was published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition.

The result has been that of the 15 surveys, 8 proteins showed more satisfactory results. This can be deduced by the fact that saciante ( a type of protein) calorie intake was significantly reduced if taken from a food with high protein levels, compared with a normal food with the same amount of calories.

However, paradoxically, the other 7 studies found no significant relationship between protein and satiety.

Although the evidence seems quite clear, this lack of unanimity leads experts to say that additional studies are needed with an improved methodology to enable them to be analysis that is more conclusive.

With regard to why the most satisfying proteins ease hunger, it seems that the feeling of hunger depends on the concentration of amino acids in the blood concentration is higher if you have foods rich in protein. This theory, although it is convincing to many researchers, needs confirmation by further studies.

But in addition to being more satisfying (which means you would eat less over a few hours), proteins produced in those who ingested a greater consumption of energy during digestion, which would strengthen research, into its ability to aid slimming.

This extra power consumption is due to greater difficulty in being metabolized, compared with fat or carbohydrates.

Turning to the reality of the studies on weight loss of various diets, they indicate that it’s true: hyperproteinic diets are associated with greater weight loss and especially loss of body fat.

They also produce more satisfying eating, i.e. a feeling of not needing to eat again and thus a reduced total caloric intake.

Consequently, some researchers suggest that to reduce weight, rather than subjected to diets with less total calories, which should be done is to change the proportion of nutrients from the diet to make it hyperproteinic. According to the data, they have gathered would indicate that it seems more effective.

As a particularly favorable application of the above must be added to breakfast with plenty of protein might be particularly effective for weight loss, and that will help in reducing calorie intake later in the day.

This custom would be the synthesis of two concepts suitable for combating weight gain: basically a good breakfast and taking up a diet that is hyperproteinic.
