There are many ways that we can cut calories through our daily diet to ensure this weight loss – and the best part is – they aren’t considered to be dieting!

1. Replace your fruit juice in the morning, or at lunch with an actual piece of fruit. The fruit will be healthier, just as satisfying and contain the juice that you have become accustomed to. Consider that replacing orange juice with an orange can save you up to one-hundred calories. Over the period of a couple meals that include juice through the course of a week this can save you up to fifteen-hundred calories per week!

2. Choose an egg white omelette. When you replace the traditional egg yolk with whites you can save up to three hundred calories. Egg whites can be obtained in a fat free form and combined with an abundance of vegetables to create a healthy choice that will continue to be satisfying throughout the day.

3. Switch to a sugar substitute. Saving those valuable calories which are wasted on sugar in your oatmeal, coffee and other drinks throughout the day.

4. Drinking a sugar free drink or diet soda rather than the traditional full sugar soda can save you up to one-hundred and fifty calories – per can of soda! Soda is one of the largest wastes of calories when you are trying to watch your waistline without dieting.

5. Eat breakfast. When you eat breakfast you can help to regulate the levels of glucose that are secreted within the body. When glucose is regulated the body may have a harder time absorbing fat within the cells.
 
6. Find an alternative for butter. There are many alternatives that are better options that the full fat option of butter. Non fat sour cream or heart healthy olive oil is two great options that can be substituted for butter. When cooking, broth is a great alternative to butter and can be seasoned accordingly.

7. Make the change to whole grains. Whole grains will not only prove to be more beneficial to the body but can assist in creating lean muscle mass because of the contents of the grains. Whole grains may contain the same levels of carbohydrates but are used more efficiently within the body.

8. Cut your portion sizes. When you eat a smaller portion size it can be simple to lose weight. Are you looking for a way to shed pounds? Begin to use a smaller plate and see the difference that it can make in your eating habits. A smaller plate tricks your mind and can cause you to feel fuller quicker.
