Getting your metabolism revved up will also help you lose weight naturally. One of the most important determinants on how effective your metabolism will be is the percentage of lean muscle you possess. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will work and the more calories and fat you will be able to burn.
To help your cause in building more muscle, you need to eat more protein. If you consume an adequate amount of protein while you are dieting, you won’t lose muscle. This is one the biggest flaws in most diets. They don’t give you the tools to keep and even build the muscle that you have. If you are fortunate enough to lose weight, you will end up looking flabby, not toned and fit. I don’t know about you but I want to look thin and good! Eventually, you will binge and all of those days and nights of going without become for not because you gain back all of the weight that you lost. To counteract this, it is important that you eat a lot of fiber. You can find fiber in great quantities in fruits and vegetables. These are a lot better for you, contain fewer calories and will help you fell fuller longer.
